2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
1.5 Tbsp cocoa powder
3/4 tsp ground turmeric
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
pinch of ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 pinch of black pepper (to help absorb the turmeric)
2 tsp Manuka honey (substitute maple syrup for a vegan option)
2–3 tsp Avo oil (to help absorb the turmeric)
In a saucepan combine the milk, turmeric and avo oil. Slowly add the cocoa powder and whisk any cocoa lumps. Bring to the boil and whisk along the way.
Once it is boiling, turn off the heat and stir in black pepper and cayenne pepper.
Pour into your favourite mugs and serve.
