Strawberry Almond Butter Thickshake
This thickshake is perfect for a healthy dessert, post-workout boost, or even a light meal. Delicious, creamy, and guilt-free, it’s a must-try!
Serves 1
Time 10 minutes
1 banana, frozen
½ cup strawberries – fresh or frozen
¼ avocado
1 tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp plant-based or dairy yoghurt
1 tbsp hemp seeds
½ cup ice
½ cup plant-based or dairy milk
¼ tsp sea salt
Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until you have a thick, smooth consistency.
Pour the thickshake into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Simple Swaps / Additions
- Swap the banana for an additional 1 cup of frozen berries or frozen mango.
- Swap the strawberries for any other berry or use mixed berries.
- You can leave the avocado out if you don’t have any but we highly recommend adding as it makes the thickshake extra creamy and nutritious.
- Swap the almond butter for peanut butter.
- Swap the hemp seeds for ground or whole flaxseeds or any nut or seed, such as walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, almonds or pumpkin seeds.
