Skin Loving Green Glow Smoothie

Say goodbye to watery green smoothies! Here is an incredibly nourishing creamy smoothie that has as much love for your skin as you do! This recipe contains some very nutrient-dense ingredients that are must-haves when consciously looking after your skin. Combining avocado, hemp seeds, flaxseeds and chia seeds is a sure-fire way to maximise your omega-3 fat, antioxidants and fiber content. The action of the omega-3 fatty acids may help improve symptoms of troubled skin by reducing inflammation.

If you would like a darker hue, add some spirulina to the mix to elevate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This smoothie is a great snack option and a really easy way to get a serve of greens in!

1 banana, frozen
1 c. spinach
Β½ medium avocado
1 c. unsweetened coconut milk
1 tsp hemp seeds
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp serve of flaxseeds
2-3 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until creamy.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
