Beeswax

Sweet Almond Oil is one of the plant oils closest to our own skin’s oil, and is high in Vitamin E. One of the oldest oils used in skincare and is rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Echinacea

Echinacea extract is capable of phagocytosis, a process of devouring damaged cells, bacteria, and other microorganisms on the skin. Applied topically, Echinacea’s anti-inflammatory properties can also reduce irritation and dryness on that hands.Echinacea is rich in tannins. These astringent (tightening) molecules can shrink pores and lead to firmer, taut-looking skin with diminished wrinkles and fine lines.

Kawakawa

Kawakawa leaves were traditionally used topically for numerous conditions including, bruises, rheumatism, dry irritated skin and minor cuts and infections. Kawakawa leaves contain volatile oil and two key components of this, Myristicin and Elemicin have been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory properties.

Chamomile

Chamomile has been traditionally used for healing wounds and skin for thousands of years. Like aloe vera, it has emollient, moisturizing, and skin-rejuvenating properties. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent that can help to decrease eczema, soothe dermatitis, improve skin’s natural glow and even speed the healing of burns.

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus oil is one of the more well-known natural repellents. The CDC have approved eucalyptus oil as an effective ingredient in mosquito repellent. It can promote wound healing and provide pain relief for minor scrapes or bites.

Witch Hazel

Witch hazel contains several antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, including gallic acid and tannins. When applied topically to the skin, witch hazel can reduce redness, soothe the skin, and help ease sunburns. Witch hazel soothes irritation and itchiness.

Celery Stem

The luteolin and polyacetylenes in Celery Stem provide powerful antioxidant properties and lower inflammatory prostaglandins. Celery Stem is also packed with vitamin A, B, C, K, niacin and folate. These are all essential for repairing skin damages as well as assisting in producing collagen that restores a youthful and hydrated glow.

Vitamin C

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a stable, water-soluble form of vitamin C.  The compound works with enzymes in skin to cleave (split) the ingredient and release pure ascorbic acid. It is also a powerhouse when mixed with other antioxidant filled ingredients such as Avocado Oil and Celery Stem.  It is a protective antioxidant, and has corrective anti-aging effects, helping to reverse visible signs of skin damage.
