Dukkah, Avo & Chilli oil on Toast

If you haven’t heard of or tasted Dukkah, well then you are welcome. Once you have tried this combo you will be wanting it on everything!  Lucky Lucky So Fried Chilli Oil is made locally in the Bay Of Plenty by trained chefs and is power packed full of flavour. A quick addition to standard avo on toast that will make your taste buds (and tummy) love you for it. Breakfast or lunch this will always satisfy your cravings whilst providing you with loads of healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, dietary fibres and the list goes on!

We love making our own fresh bread, Midnight Baker Freedom loaves are an easy and dietary requirement friendly option to make a delicious base for this at home. Vogels is always a good option too, that most kiwis have in the pantry or freezer! HOT TIP: We like using the thin kind and adding more avo to bulk it out.

When toasted lather your bread with avocado (if you are feeling naughty add butter first!). Follow with some dollops of Lucky Lucky Chilli Oil and top with a good sprinkle of Dukkah. The Chilli Oil is mild – so if you like a bit of a spicy kick then add in some of the more chunky chilli bits. YOM!

For the the ultimate breaky (and to add some extra protein to get you through the day) fry an egg on both sides in some Chilli Oil and add onto your plain avo on toast, then top with the Dukkah. You can thank us later.
