Key Lime Pie Smoothie Bowl

Gone are the days of the traditional smoothie bowl. Our favourite new plant based treat is our Key Lime Pie Smoothie Bowl. She looks just as good as she tastes and is the ultimate crowd pleaser if you are looking for a new dessert to serve!

Ingredients:
Coconut Oat Crumble
2 tbsp oat flour
1 tbsp desiccated coconut
1/2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
Pinch of salt

Smoothie
1 banana, frozen
½ ripe avocado
1 lime, juice and zest
½ cup coconut milk
Handful of ice

To Top
Coconut oat crumble
Almond butter
Coconut yogurt

 

Key Lime Pie Smoothie Bowl

Method

Preheat oven to 180C. Mix together ingredients for coconut oat crumble in a small bowl. Spread on baking tray, then bake for 10 minutes or until turning golden. Leave to cool for 5 minutes then break into chunks.

Blend all smoothie ingredients until smooth, thick and creamy. Pour smoothie into a bowl.

Top smoothie with coconut oat crumble, almond butter and coconut yogurt.
