Citric Acid has protective antioxidant, and corrective anti-aging effects helping to reverse visible signs of skin damage. Citric Acid works by exfoliating the upper layer of dead skin cells to help clean pores, even skin tone and soften and smooth the skin. It encourages skin cell turnover and is also a good source of antioxidants for your cleansed skin.
Sodium stearoyl glutamate is a hypo allergenic amino acid produced from glutamic acid and plant (palm or coconut) fatty acids. With a pH similar to that of the skin, sodium stearoyl glutamate is used a very gentle, yet effective moisturising component. In our Facial Exfoliant it also helps to keep water and oil components mixed for the perfect formulation.
