Kiwi Berry Smoothie

This is a wonderful fresh morning recipe where the kiwifruit and greek yoghurt give it just the kick that it needs to avoid being a super sweet breakfast smoothie.

Did you know that both blackberries and kiwi fruit provide plenty of fiber, which is paramount for great digestion, while also giving your wintery immune system the vitamin C high-five it needs? To be exact, this smoothie gives you 60% of your daily needs, and 171% of your Vitamin C needs. Shall we mention the liquid gold in this recipe? Manuka honey has anti-inflammatory properties that your insides will thank you for. Just imagine what you can achieve in a day when you already have this in the bag.

Ingredients:
2 kiwis – peeled
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup greek yoghurt
1/2 cup water
1/4 blackberries, fresh or frozen
2 tsp hemp seeds
2 tsp manuka honey
2 tsp psyllium husk powder
fresh mint leaves

Method:
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
